Lollipop

Lollipop was painted the same time I painted Liberate.

I used my breasts for the shapes. When I was done painting

I thought about my own sexuality.

How I felt in that moment sitting in my truth.

Giving myself the permission to see what came up for me.

I wouldn't say that this painting lead me come out again, but it definitely provided me with the emotional support I needed while I nurtured my feelings during that moment.
