Efflorescence:
When I started this painting my first thought was... it has to have fluorescent colors. My emotions felt bright the day I painted this. I’ve noticed lately that I’ve been drawn to the color green. Green, the color of life, renewal, nature, and energy, is associated with meanings of growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and environment. Learning what the color green means made everything come together and make sense. I started thinking about growth and renewal. About flowers and trees. Nature and self healing. Efflorescence... the state or period of flowering.
