I painted Empathy in 2019.
Being an empath can feel overwhelming. It is bittersweet to be one. Often you feel unseen and overwhelmed by the energy and people around you. The short brushstrokes reminded me of something sharp. Short jabs. The face in the middle with a silent scream and hallowed eyes. The colors represent the energy of others.
